Sometimes, you might want to turn off the thumbnail preview of the photos in your gallery. One such case might be if your photos are stored on a network drive and you want to minimize traffic.
To turn off previews:
- Start Photo Gallery.
- On the File menu, click Options.
- On the General tab, clear the Show photo and video previews in tooltips check box, and then click OK.
